Why BCA Collections Fail Before the Driver Gets In.
BCA is not an auction yard — it is a high-volume automated machine. Their storage fees are non-negotiable, their ANPR gates will not lift for an unregistered plate, and their MyBCA Portal must show your transporter as authorised before anyone gets past security. Generic operators who do not know this system do not just get delayed. They get turned away.

BCA sites are large. Vehicles are parked in zones — Zone C, Row 4, not somewhere near the entrance. A driver without the BCA Driver App will spend the first half of the job doing a scavenger hunt. Our drivers use the app to pinpoint the exact GPS location of the lot before they start the engine.
Before the driver leaves, your authorisation is confirmed in the MyBCA Portal, the truck plate is registered for the collection slot, and the BCA Driver App has the GPS zone location of the lot. We are not arriving at BCA hoping things work out — we are arriving prepared for a system that does not make exceptions.
For non-runners and seized handbrake situations — common on modern Transits and Vitos — we use 7.5-tonne tilt-and-slide trucks with technical wheel skates. BCA expects the transporter to be fully self-sufficient. They will not assist with a forklift. We bring the right equipment as standard, not as an afterthought.
On LCV collections, we check the H-rating of the van — H2, H3 Extra High — against our truck’s deck height and the site’s exit gantry clearance before dispatch. A transporter that turns up for an H3 van with a standard trailer has wasted your slot and triggered another storage day.
